Child Education

If we truly wish to tackle challenges like healthcare, poverty, population growth, unemployment, and human rights, the most powerful starting point is providing education to underprivileged children. Education not only equips them with the tools to build a secure future but also shapes them into responsible citizens at both national and global levels.

The Right to Education (RTE) Act, implemented in 2010, made education free and compulsory for children between 6 and 14 years of age. However, even after more than a decade, progress remains uneven. Socio-economic hardships faced by families, coupled with inadequate learning environments in schools, continue to deprive many children of the quality education they deserve.

Suryamanglam Wellness Foundation’s flagship programme, Mission Education, is dedicated to empowering underprivileged children by providing education, nutrition, and wellness support. The initiative is closely aligned with the New Education Policy (2020) and supports SDG Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Mission Education reaches out to children aged 3–18 years who are living in difficult circumstances—those from poor families, differently abled children, disaster-affected children, abandoned and street children, as well as children in tribal regions, remote villages, and other hard-to-reach areas.
